Cancellation Policy

Cancellation in Case of Damage

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify the Furnish Lap team by submitting a return request through your account.

The damage or defect will be assessed within 72 hours, and an appropriate solution will be provided. If, in the opinion of Furnish Lap, the product is found to be damaged or defective, it may be replaced or any other suitable corrective action may be taken.

Please Note:

  • Products purchased during sales or at discounted prices cannot be cancelled.
  • Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placement, provided they have not been shipped.
  • Refunds for cancelled orders will be credited to the Furnish Lap Wallet only.

Return & Refund Policy

If you are eligible for a refund, it will be processed according to the following guidelines:

  • Refund processing begins only after the returned product has been picked up from the customer’s location.
  • Once the returned product reaches our warehouse and passes inspection, the refund will be initiated within 2–3 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the Furnish Lap Wallet.
  • Processing charges may be deducted depending on the order.
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery will be refunded after deducting a 20% restocking fee.
  • Products purchased during sales or with discounts are not eligible for returns. They are only eligible for replacement in case of manufacturing defects or transit damage.
  • If a refund is exceptionally processed to a bank account, 5% payment gateway charges will be deducted.
  • An unedited unboxing video is mandatory for all return and replacement requests.

Warranty Policy

All products come with a 1-year warranty covering:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Inherent termite damage
  • Borer-related issues

Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Minor scratches, dents, or marks caused during cleaning or regular use.
  • Damage resulting from improper installation.
  • Cracks caused by shifting or mishandling after delivery.
  • Damage due to direct exposure to sunlight or water causing wood deterioration.
  • Natural wood checks (minor cracks), which are a normal characteristic of solid wood and do not affect product durability.
  • Surface unevenness up to 5 mm, which is considered acceptable under industry standards.
  • Upholstery, fabric covers, cushion covers, or other soft furnishings.

Delivery Policy

Our customer support and logistics team work together to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

  • In buildings without a service lift, delivery will be made only up to the ground floor, where applicable.
  • Once your order reaches the nearest delivery hub, it will be held for 5 days if delivery cannot be completed. Additional storage charges may apply thereafter.

Delivery Rejection & Storage Charges

For custom-made or non-returnable products:

  • We will store your order free of charge for 7 calendar days from the original delivery date.
  • From the 8th day, a storage (demurrage) charge of ₹100 per day will apply for a maximum of 30 days.
  • If the order is not accepted or collected within 37 days (7 free days + 30 chargeable days), Furnish Lap reserves the right to dispose of the product.
  • In such cases, no refund will be provided, and Furnish Lap shall not be liable for any claims related to the disposed product.
  • This policy applies to all custom-made and non-returnable products.
